When tested to the ASHRAE 110-1995 Method of Testing Laboratory Fume Hoods, the Bi-Stable Vortex Fume Safety Cabinet performs exceptionally well. It qualifies as a "Class A" fume hood, per the performance specification in the ANSI/AIHA Z9.5-1992 American National Standard for Laboratory Ventilation. These ASHRAE tracer gas test results show a standard 6' bench Bi-Stable Vortex Fume Safety Cabinet's performance, in both the horizontal and vertical sash postitions at 59 FPM and 44 FPM respectively indicating a spillage rate well below the acceptable criteria of 0.05 ppm of tracer gas. Testing was completed at Flow Safe Test Laboratory by an independent testing agency. Complete results available upon request. |
